Our Story.

In May 2023, us eight founding members of Eight Ball Theatre graduated from the University of Southern California’s B.F.A. Acting program. Over those four years, we had worked closely together creating theatre, telling stories, and growing as artists. But not only that, we had found a group where the values of collaboration, excellence, and ensemble took precedence in every artistic endeavor we undertook–like lightning in a bottle.

One of our most trusted acting professors commended the magic our group could make in one room, and when leaving college, we wanted more than anything to maintain this artistic environment as a space to make theatre in ways that were new and meaningful to us. Beyond that, we wanted to make it accessible to other artists in the Los Angeles area who might be seeking a supportive and affirming space where they can be empowered to create resonant works of theatre.
